Tales of young lovers, royal dreams, and rebellions by warriors in the days of the dynasty, are told through the beautiful lyrics of great Cantonese operatic songs.

Launching the first of a series of Cantonese Opera Delights presented every quarter, this concert features excerpts from famous operas such as Dream of The Red Chamber, Pride and Pretension, Fan Li and Si Shi as well as songs like Why Not Return and much more, all performed live with traditional Chinese musicians.

With renowned artists Wong Yee Man and Ng Yim Hoong from Hong Kong gracing the stage together with homegrown talents such as Joanna Wong, Lou Mee Wah, See Too Hoi Siang, Wong Kum Yeng, Ng Lee Lee, Lo Siu Ling, Yee Lai Meng, Soh Thim Chee, Chan Kwai Lin, Cheong Sok Lin, Cheong Siew Wai, Dr Wong Kwok Onn and Ellen Li.
