The performance, first of its kind and supported by the National Arts Council, features the versatility of Leslie Wong (Resident playwright of CTC) as a playwright, songwriter, and musician.

The performance showcases Leslie Wong's works: traditional Cantonese songs "The Poet Liu Yong", "Poetry As A Matchmaker", Cantonese Opera excerpt "Emperor Guangxu And His Pearl Concubine", and Cantonese pop songs "Tribute To Mr Ong Teng Cheong", "Tribute To Mr Cheong Wing", "Tribute To Mr Fong Cheok Kai", "Ode To Chinese Theatre Circle", "The Red Pear Flower", "Eternal Bonds", "Be Bright And Upright", "Serenade".

Leslie Wong will accompany his works himself with his violin, yangqin, guzheng & keyboard. Programme, however, subject to change.

The performers include Joanna Wong (Singapore's Cultural Medallion winner), veteran singer Kwan Siu Ping, See Too Hoi Siang (winner of "The Outstanding Young Person In the World Award"), Frances Wong Kum Yeng, Cheong Siew Wai, Lo Siu Ling, Chan Mei Leng, Foong Pak Seng, Mak Khay Meng, Chan Kwai Lin, and others.
