（简介）

唐伯虎(公元1470-1523)明朝举人,世称唐解元,当时被誉为江南第一才子.他的脍炙人口[言志诗]流传甚广.[不炼金丹不坐禅,不为商贾不耕田,闲来写就丹青卖,不使人间造孽錢][唐伯虎点秋香]描写唐伯虎的风流韵事,家传户晓,不须叙述.
这部戏是当年香港任白[仙凤鳴]的镇班戏宝之一,后由[雏凤鸣]龙剑笙,梅雪詩拍成[三笑姻缘]电影.
敦煌根据[仙凤鳴]及[雏凤鸣]的剧本加以整理和润饰并浓缩为两个小时.塲次分为[虎丘惊艳],[庙遇求神],[追舟],[献计],[赏月],[选美], [洞房]

Synopsis

"This comedy tells the story of the famous scholar Tang Bo Hu (AD 1470 - 1523) in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1368 - 1644) who in order to court a pretty maid Jiu Xiang whom he met at a temple, was prepared to condescend himself by becoming a servant in the household of the Prime Minister where Jiu Xiang was working. He finally succeeded, only after a series of hilarious encounters with Jiu Xiang as well as assistance rendered by his bosom friend Zhu Ji Shan, another famous scholar, and from his cousin sister who was the Prime Minister's daughter-in-law. This opera was first made popular by Cantonese Opera legend the late Ms Yam Kim Fai and Ms Pak Suit Sin in Hong Kong in the 1950s. The theme song "Meeting At The Temple" a duet by this duo remains an evergreen item among Cantonese Opera lovers.
The opera script originally written by famous Hong Kong playwright the late Mr Tang Di Sheng, is now condensed into a two hour production by Mr Leslie Wong who in so doing has rewritten two scenes enhancing the humourous and literary content of the comedy.
Leading the cast of twenty-one artists are See Too Hoi Siang, winner of "The Outstanding Young Person In The World Award" for cultural achievements, assuming the title role of Jiu Xiang, and Frances Wong Kum Yeng as Tang Bo Hu.
